Patient referred for root canal treatment of tooth 27 due to Irreversible pulpitis (Wolters Classification: severe pulpitis).

In this case the main difficulty was represented by the fact that the patient had a very restricted mouth opening.
After accessing the pulp chamber, the canals were scouted with a #10 K file and shaped with EdgeFile® X7 files.
NaOCl and EDTA sonically activated were used as irrigants. The root canal system was sealed with single cone and hydraulic cement, confirming the obturation with a mastercone+cement periapical xray.
The tooth was then temporised with PTFE and resin modified glass ionomer cement and sent back to the referring dentist for permanent restoration.
