EdgeBioCeramic™ ThermalFlow™
It is an innovative, premixed, and ready-to-use injectable bioceramic paste designed for permanent root canal filling and sealing, ideal for warm obturation. This insoluble, radiopaque, and aluminum-free material is based on a calcium silicate composition that sets and hardens in the presence of moisture naturally found in dentin. Notably, it does not shrink during setting and exhibits excellent physical properties, ensuring a durable and stable obturation.
Delivered in a pre-loaded syringe with disposable BC Tips, EdgeBioCeramic™ ThermalFlow™ offers convenient direct application, or it can be applied using traditional methods. It boasts a working time of over 4 hours at room temperature and a setting time of 4 hours (though this can extend in very dry canals due to its moisture-dependent setting reaction).
This advanced sealer is indicated for permanent obturation following both vital pulp extirpation and the removal of infected or necrotic pulp. Its minimally invasive nature allows for the preservation of natural tooth anatomy. Removal, when necessary, can be accomplished using conventional techniques in combination with gutta-percha points or with piezo electric ultrasonics.
